A topical “Botox in a bottle”-style peptide.
It gently relaxes the tiny muscle contractions that cause expression lines (forehead, crow’s feet); far milder than real Botox, but topical and needle-free.
What It Does
SNAP-8 (acetyl octapeptide-3) is an elongation of Argireline that reduces the formation of the SNARE complex needed for muscle-contraction signaling at the skin’s surface, softening dynamic expression lines.
Topical cosmetic; effects are subtle and surface-level, not a true neuromodulator.

Side effects
Minimal, occasional mild irritation/dryness.
What to expect
Subtle softening of fine expression lines over weeks. Not comparable in magnitude to injectable Botox. Supply math 10mg → small serum batch, most use pre-formulated % serums.

Approved drug
Tretinoin (Renova) is FDA-approved for fine wrinkles and Botox for frown lines, both far better evidenced than cosmetic peptides.
